Edmonton, Alberta — Captain Matthew Hou is an ambitious 29-year-old soldier who joined the Canadian Army Regular Force in 2006 at the age of 17 and has accomplished quite a lot in just 11 years.


May 8, 2017 – Wainwright, Alberta – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

Media are invited to attend and view Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE 2017, taking place in Wainwright, Alberta, from May 14 to 29, 2017. Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE involves approximately 5500 Canadian Armed Forces Members. Also participating in the exercise this year are soldiers from the Australian Army, British Army, New Zealand Defense Force, and United States Army. The total number of participants is approximately 7000, making it the largest Canadian Army exercise of the year.

2 PPCLI Receives New Queen’s Colour

SHILO, MANITOBA – The Second Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (2 PPCLI) received a new Queen’s Colour in a ceremony at Canadian Forces Base Shilo today.
